FAQ

The Aesthetic Pulsed Light System utilized by MD Cosmedical Solutions represents the most advanced technology currently available for permanent hair removal. It achieves extremely effective results. Due to the hair growth cycle and individual factors, a number of treatments are required at regular intervals to maximise results.

The APL system is utilized by MD Cosmedical Solutions is unique because it offers the most advanced, highly specialised, effective treatments that are safe, fast, painless and cause no associated redness or burning. It can treat large areas of hair comfortably at any one time and involves no down time.

Treatments with the APL System are highly specific for the destruction of hair follicles. As a result, other skin structures are unaffected, which means there is no pain, redness or burning associated with our treatments. The treatments are very safe and effective. MD Cosmedical Solutions clients who have tried other laser/IPL systems will attest to these features.

All areas of the body are safely and easily treatable (except the inner nose and inner ear). Some clients choose to treat many areas simultaneously, while others choose to treat only one area at a time.

With the APL technology, people with any skin colour (light, olive or dark) are safely and easily treatable. Any hair colour other than grey hair is treatable. Darker hair responds faster than lighter hair. Grey hair is treatable with the application of a special hair follicle marker solution.
