LASER LIPOSUCTION

What Is Laser Liposuction?

Laser liposuction is a minimally invasive form of aesthetic surgery designed to remove excess body fat. It involves the use of a laser to rapidly dissolve excess fat in target areas such as the thighs, buttocks, abdomen, arms, neck and parts of the face, using a minor “keyhole” surgical procedure.

Fotona's QCW Nd:YAG laser is considered the gold standard in aesthetic surgery, and its application in laser lipolysis has been tested and proven to be very safe and effective.

Safe, Effective, and Minimally Invasive

Fotona's Laser Liposuction procedure does not require the use of a general anesthetic. A very fine laser fiber is inserted into the treatment area under the skin via minor incisions, where the laser light causes swelling and rupture of adipocytes (fat cells). When the fat is melted, it can either be absorbed by the body or removed by the physician during the procedure. Simultaneously, the laser also tightens the surrounding skin to prevent it from sagging after the removal of unwanted fat. In fact, the same laser can be used for skin tightening, tone and textural improvements elsewhere on the body.

How Does Laser Liposuction Work?

The Fatona Nd:YAG  laser is administered through a very small optical fiber in a cannula which is inserted through a small incision into the to-be-treated area. While melting the fatty tissue the Nd:YAG laser also tightens the surrounding skin, preventing it from sagging after the fatty deposits have been removed. The controlled heating effect of the laser provokes new collagen and elastin formation within the skin. Shrinking is more pronounced and the skin is much smoother than after classical liposuction.

Advantages of Laser Liposuction over traditional Liposuction

Laser Liposuction is less invasive than classical liposuction because only several tiny 1-2 mm incisions are required to insert the cannula with a laser fiber and there is no need for general anesthesia. Tumescent local anaesthesia & mild sedation are typically used. The fatty tissue removal process requires less external force and exertion compared to the standard liposuction. And the results are more effective & smoother than with traditional liposuction. Thermally induced coagulation minimizes bleeding and trauma, as well as post-treatment bruising and swelling. Patients can therefore expect shorter recovery times and a reduced need for compressive garments, while they can get back to their daily activities virtually immediately after the procedure in most cases. Complementary optimal skin tightening effects add to high patient acceptance and shortened recovery times. Results begin immediately after the laser liposuction treatment, and continue to improve over the next 12 weeks post surgery.

FAT TRANSFER

Recycling Your Fat to look years Younger

Facial Fat Transfer Sydney CBD, Wahroonga, Canberra, Perth

Fat transfer is an aesthetic procedure that takes fat from one area of your body and relocates it to another area of your body to restore lost or uneven volume and contours. The fat is used as an injectable tissue to treat areas such as the face, breasts, buttocks and the hands. Fat is usually taken from a person’s thighs, flanks, stomach or buttocks and is implanted into the desired areas, most commonly the face.

The Fat is prepared so that it is concentrated and purified and thereby rich in Adipose Derived Stromal / Stem Cells (ADSC).

The patients own fat is harvested through liposuction. The harvested fat is then condensed, filtered, and injected into the chosen location of the body requiring rejuvenation and augmentation.

THERMAGE

Thermage CPT Non-Surgical Skin Tightening

Thermage CPT is a patented monopolar radiofrequency (RF) technology which is widely used to tighten skin laxity. The Thermage stimulates skin cells to produce new collagen, hence tightening skin laxity.

Thermage is an excellent adjunct procedure that can help patients achieve tighter & more rejuvenated skin after liposuction treatments.

LIPOMEDIX CONTOUR

Lipomedix Contour Ultrasonic Cavitation

Lipomedix Contour is highly recommended to assist with lymphatic drainage of fluid and waste products, which are a result of the treatment process. This will hasten recovery and further improve results.
