FAQ

Wrinkle injection treatments have been the number one cosmetic
procedure since 2001, according to the American Society for
Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Wrinkle Removal Treatments are the most popular treatments performed at MD Cosmedical Solutions Clinics, with thousands of treatments performed in our Sydney wrinkle treatment clinics over the last 15 years.

Wrinkle injection treatments are as equally effective on men and women. Because of its
effectiveness for stress (frown) lines, it is popular with many businessmen, leaving them
looking more refreshed and approachable.

Your lines will gradually revert to their pre-treatment appearance.

Wrinkle injection treatments are often used in combination with Fraxel Restore & Repair Dual Laser, Thermage CPT, Threadlifts, Thermalaze, Dermal Fillers, Dermapen, Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Photorejuvenation, and microdermabrasion.

Experienced medically trained staff should only perform wrinkle Injections. At MD Cosmedical Solutions Sydney, cosmedical doctors or their fully qualified supervised registered nurses carry out all treatments.

Following your Winkle Injection treatment:

  • DO NOT massage the injected area.
  • DO NOT have a facial or microdermabrasion for at least one week after the treatment.
  • DO use the muscles that were injected by trying to frown, squint or raise your eyebrows.
  • DO NOT lie down in a flat position. The effect of botulinum injections is usually seen 3 – 7 days after treatment.
  • It is advantageous to use our MD Cosmedical Solutions recommended anti ageing cream skin care programs to further refine and rejuvenate your skin.

The effect of the wrinkle injections is usually seen three-to-seven days after treatment.

Typically the wrinkles will return 3 – 4 months after treatment. At this point, a repeat treatment is recommended to relax the muscles and re-soften your lines, and to prevent the appearance of new ageing lines.
